Monthly mentoring

Service Description

As your mentor I will champion your work, hold you to deadlines, and push you to think more deeply about your story and its themes. I will challenge you to improve your understanding of the various craft elements until your book is the best it can be. I will also advise you on the current market, facilitate a pitching session with an agent, and encourage you to keep going when you want to give up (every writer reaches a point where they want to give up). We can agree a timetable that works for both of us - buy generally I will ask for 5,000 words every four weeks for the first 12 months. You can then implement the learning you gain from my feedback sooner, and strengthen your first draft as a whole. Sessions will take place via email (your excerps and my written feedback). 1:1s and mentee socials will happen over Zoom. I'm really excited to be working with you!
